My passion and work takes me on various travels across the world and my byline is familiar to discerning readers of newspapers and magazines like Statesman, Spicejet Magazine, TLF, International Magazine Food & Wine, Upper Crust, Air India Magazine,  Travel Span, Discover India, Luxe cafe, ET Travel, High 5, Millionaire Asia to name a few.  A trained hospitality professional, from the Institute of Hotel Management, Ahmedabad, I started my career with the Leela Kempinski and moved on to the Taj group of Hotels. I had a brief stint with the Choice Hotels as Assistant Manager Training in 1995. Motherhood meant break from a job regimen so I moved on to Freelance writing & photography on Travel, food, wine and lifestyle which has been my forte! Apart from this I also take classes on various food subjects like trends across the world, cuisines of the world and so on. I have also appeared and won the IFB chef contest aired in “STAR PLUS” some years back and have traveled to various countries for cuisine enhancement.I have  studied at The Chef John Folse Culinary Institute, an academic college of Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana. The namesake of the college, Chef John Folse is known as "Louisiana’s Culinary Ambassador to the World".
